Product Application of Morpholine CAS#110-91-8
Morpholine is predominantly adopted for the production of rubber vulcanization accelerators, and extensively deployed in the synthetic preparation of surfactants, textile printing and dyeing additives, pharmaceutical products and agrochemicals. Additionally, it functions as a catalytic agent for butadiene polymerization, industrial corrosion inhibitor and optical whitening agent.
This compound acts as an efficient dissolving medium for dyes, resins, waxes, natural and synthetic rubber, as well as casein materials. At present, the annual global production capacity of morpholine is roughly maintained between 30,000 to 40,000 tons.
Moreover, morpholine salt derivatives have a broad range of industrial uses. Morpholine hydrochloride and its analogous compounds are vital intermediates for organic synthesis. Meanwhile, morpholine fatty acid salts can be applied as fresh-keeping coating materials for fruits and vegetables, which effectively slows down respiration rate, reduces water loss and avoids surface shrinkage during storage and transportation.
